The magic of Christmas eluded Kelan this year. His first encounter with Santa resulted in a Rudolph-red face and a desperate desire to get away fast. We're hoping next year he'll want to play reindeer games...

After waking from a very sweaty afternoon nap (note: super stringy hair), "Dad-duh" (KC's actual pronunciation) captured his antics on the kitchen floor.

We have so much to be grateful for that it was fitting to visit the memorial during Thanksgiving to honor those who have served our country.

With the peak of the season upon us, a scenic trip to NC's wine country was in store. We spent the afternoon wine tasting and roaming the grounds at Raffaldini Vineyards -- it was quite simply a perfect day.
